Mauve Pilates Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 20, 2025

By booking a class, session, or membership with Mauve Pilates, you agree to the terms outlined below. These policies are in place to help protect your experience, support the community, and ensure the smooth running of our studio.

 

1. Purchases & Refunds

Grip Socks: All grip sock sales are final. Returns are only accepted if the item is faulty or defective.

Classes, Blocks & Memberships: All purchases — including single classes, blocks, and memberships — are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Class blocks are intended for individual use and cannot be shared unless explicitly agreed in writing by Mauve Pilates.

2. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations: If you’re unable to attend a class, please cancel as soon as possible — even if it’s within the 12-hour window — so we can offer the space to another client.

Late Cancellations: Bookings cancelled less than 12 hours before class will result in the forfeit of your class credit.

No-Shows: Failing to attend a class without cancelling will also result in the loss of your class credit.

Managing Bookings: All cancellations must be made through the Mauve Pilates app or Mindbody app. We do not accept cancellations via email, direct message, or social media.

Late Arrivals: For safety reasons, latecomers will not be permitted to join the class. This will also result in a forfeited class credit.

 

3. Unlimited Membership Policy

Minimum Commitment: Unlimited memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment and renew automatically each month.

No-Show Penalty: If you accumulate three no-shows or late cancellations within a 30-day period, your account will be subject to a 7-day booking freeze.

 

4. Injuries & Pre/Postnatal Clients

Please contact us before booking if you are recovering from an injury or are pre/postnatal. Not all classes may be suitable, and your safety is our priority.

We may not be able to accommodate all conditions within a group class setting.

 

5. Expiry Dates

Membership Credits: Credits included in monthly memberships do not roll over and must be used within the month unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Block Bookings: Class blocks have set expiry dates. Unused credits will expire at the end of the term. Please refer to our Pricing Page for current validity periods.

It is your responsibility to manage and use credits within the valid timeframe.

 

6. Health, Safety & Participation

By attending any class or session, you confirm you are in good physical condition and have disclosed any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy to the studio.

Participation is at your own risk. Mauve Pilates is not liable for any injury sustained during classes or sessions.

Mauve Pilates reserves the right to substitute instructors or modify class schedules without notice.

 

7. Studio Etiquette

Please arrive on time, silence your phone, and respect the calm environment we aim to create.

Clients acting in a disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe manner may be asked to leave without refund.

Age Requirement: Participants must be 16 years or older to attend group classes unless attending a designated teen session or with prior approval.

 

8. Liability & Personal Belongings

Mauve Pilates is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings in the studio or car park.

By booking a class, you agree to release Mauve Pilates, its instructors, and affiliates from all liability related to your participation in studio activities.

9. Photos, Videos & Privacy

Please respect others’ privacy if taking photos or videos in the studio. Always check with your instructor beforehand.

For the comfort of all clients, we may ask you not to record or film during class.
